Christian teacher and Roma Waterman offers more practices to help us preserve the spirit of Easter:
Scripture Anchors: Write a scripture on a sticky note. Put it on your fridge or mirrors. Read it aloud as you go about your day. Some ideas: By His wounds we are healed (Is 53:5), He was delivered to death… raised to life (Rom 4:25), Death has been swallowed up in victory (1 Cor 15:54). Scatter verses like anchors around your home.
Journal Prompts: Pause for five minutes. Reflect or write: Where do I need resurrection? What does the cross mean to me right now? If I stood in the garden with Jesus as he rose… What would he say to me this season?
Why don’t you try one? Because Jesus meets us not just in silence… but also in the stir of the everyday. You don’t always need a quiet retreat to encounter Jesus. Sometimes He comes in the middle of the mess—with flour on your hands and a house full of noise He’s closer than you think. Contact us at 314-578-0062 or [email protected]!
